alright people i need calls letters emails....anything to keep me on task.

So I have been working out, just not as much. I have also been sticking to the diet, just not as much. I did weigh myself last week and I had gained 2lbs. I didn't this week out of fear (there are mini-reese peanut cups at work they somehow are making it into my mouth everyday.) I think I need help.

I have been bringing my lunch everyday and I also have asparagus as well as carrots stored at work. So I add those into my meal. For some reason I am so over prepared on what to eat I end up not being that hungry and I end up not eating or I eat to many of the above mentioned. (which btw are 1 point each WW style) I guess I should be putting more of an effort into getting to a forum on WW so that I have someone to talk to about it instead of just thinking I am doing well enough on my own. All I really know is that I haven't been as focused on my goals as I should be and I find it frustrating as I know I should be doing better.

A few new items I have found to spruce up the diet. Fiber one cottage cheese for one is great, tastes the same as the other and if you put in fresh fruit it is wonderful. I find that even w/fruit it is still a little bland so I had just the smallest drizzle of honey to it to add flavor. Which before everything is added in only has 1 WW point. I don't count the honey but I do count the fruit. I mean the honey is just the tiniest of drizzles. Also my George forman has been getting a lot more action lately. I have been doing fresh veggies on this. Gives them so much more flavor. Especially the Asparagus that is on sale right now. I eat it all the time. I LOVE that stuff. Tonight I did green&red peppers, mushrooms, asparagus, and onion on the foreman and then transferred them into a skillet with a 1/2 pat of butter and 2 tablespoons olive oil. I then did the chicken on the foreman added that to the skillet and sauteed them together.(i marinated the chicken in taco bell hot sauce(u can find it at ur store for sale)) Then I had high fiber flour tortillas that where 50 calories, 2 fat, and 5 fiber per one. I should of taken a picture but I didn't. I did have fresh homemade salsa and avocado (aka guacamole) it was super filling and delicious. Even the BF liked it even with all the veggies that he usually won't eat.

So far this week only 2 days of working out 20 minutes. Tomorrow I am doing an hour. It might be outside, it could just be BL inside. Not sure but tomorrow evening I have plans to go to a spa party. THAT I can't wait for.

Already Saturday? Or almost Sunday. Really?

Okay so since the last blog I have been doing a lot better. I have worked out everyday since Tuesday. I did yardwork, yoga, Biggest Loser full body and upper body, and YES I am spent. I don't know how I am moving right now. My legs hurt, my abs hurt and my upper arms hurt. I would say this is the correct move in the right direction. If I am not hurting I am not learning to lose it all.

A few tips that I have also picked up this week. The more you exercise the more energy that you have. I am finding that I am cleaning the house more with the extra energy that I have. I did the full bathroom, and extra loads of laundry, as well as the dishes (even if it was only a few) As I mentioned above I also did yard work. Much needed yard work. I spent time these past 2 days working on the backyard ground cover as it has overgrown and it was getting really hard to walk on the sidewalk. So pulling all that up really helped with all the upper body work that I needed to do. As a result I am only half way done with what I want to get done, but it really is looking a lot better.

Also in other tips, the weights plus tv are really working out. I keep them next to me in the living room and when I start to watch something I do reps with them off and on for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. I also find that multi-tasking is helping. I get up and move around during commercials. (even if I have recorded the show before hand, i still am letting commercials play) I will get up and sweep the floor, or get something together for the next project that I might be doing.

I am thinking of redo-ing my vision board. (for those of you that don't know what that is just ask me) On it a picture of me in the summer of '99 is what I am thinking of doing. Around 145lbs I was that summer and I am going to reach it.

Not so related diet/exercise front. I will be starting doing Avon again. I haven't done it in years and I know that there is a market for it in this area so I have contacted my friendly neighborhood rep and she and I are all set to get started. This should lead to a great part-time opportunity.

I am staying positive and motivated. Can't weight to get home and workout tonight. Not sure if I am hiking tomorrow or what but it is going to be something good.

Thanks to the ones that know me best!

Okay, I admit I didn't weight myself this week. I didn't want to know if I gained. Besides being bloated I did eat a lot of un needed calories this past week. I just didn't want to see the results. I will weight myself next week. (the end of this week)
I do want to thank my sister Nichole, who yesterday called me and said you are inspiring me so keep motivated or I won't be motivated. That really got me thinking a lot. Hmm... She is right. I do have people out there that I am writing to in cyperspace and I need to be sure that they all know my struggles BUT I also need to inspire and motivate others to get healthy and fit.

So tonight I did just over 30 minutes of BL cardio. With a plan in mind to do an hour tomorrow before I work. Then on my day off thursday 30 minutes, with Friday being an hour. If I can rotate what exersises I do that will help as well. Not sure if the weather will be nice enough this week to do outdoor walking or hiking but I will hope for the best. :-)

Also while watching my recorded DVR Biggest loser episode I did 5lb weights for about the first 30 minutes of the show. Trying to get a lot of my upper body work done. I did feel the burn and I hope I did enough sets (I wasn't doing them that fast) to make my arms hurt tomorrow. Then I know that I did them right.

Now one other note. Because there is no sense in lying to my good people. I haven't done the WW in about a week. Don't worry tomorrow I am tracking everything again. I can't be off track this much again. I am finding it hard to get back into the routine that I had started. So any emails, phone calls or comments are welcome in helping me stay on task.

Thanks to you all. (Also to Bob, my trainer and asskicker)
